The score contains songs such as Welcome to the Theatre, But Alive, and the title theme Applause.

HealthWorks Theatre Artistic Director Peter Reynolds directs the production with musicians from the band Lakeside providing accompaniment led by music director Cynthia Stevens.

HealthWorks Theatre's concert performance stars 2000 Chicago Tribune Chicagoan of the Year and local award winning actress/singer Alexandra Billings as Margo Channing, with Chicago actress and HealthWorks alumnus Heidi Kettenring as Eve Harrington.
